Grew up in Maine with hippie parents. Was not allowed sugary cereal, but always had plenty of art supplies.

Moved to Brooklyn to attend Pratt for Graphic Design. Purchased skinny jeans.

Worked in a few cubicles after college, then decided to start my own freelance graphic design business.

After 10 years in the city, hightailed it to upstate New York (and I do mean upstate, not Hudson Valley).

Am currently enjoying country life in the 1000 Islands region with my husband and our son, working for a non-profit and continuing to freelance as a graphic designer.

Update: We’ve moved back to Maine!

Love your Upstate crack! I regularly have to tell people that HV is NOT upstate! LOL Then I tell them that I am 35 miles away from Canada, THAT’S upstate!

Agreed – I’m about 15 minutes away from the T.I. Bridge myself. Thanks for checking in!
